Moment of silence please.
Thank you.
I think this is why I love this mural. If I didn't know better, I'd say our Calvin friend is desperately trying to escape the grasp of some evil monster below. The monster attempts dialogue with Calvin boy but the 'eeps' and 'orps' go unanswered.
Until you look around the corner.
Seems someone understood the monsters and answered back in foreign tongue. Anyone versed in graffiti? I'd sure like to know if I'm posting something vulgar.
You say it could be gang related?!
Eep! Orp! Gotta jet! Calvin...wait!

I was so sad, too, when Bill Watterson called it quits. Still, you can still catch the antics of the two great philosophers, Calvin and Hobbes, on the Internet.
More great artwork. Now you need to post an "opposition" post with scenes of mindless graffiti. Or is Athens to civilised for that?
Yay...Part III! I've been wating for this.
I didn't even know that there was that much graffiti (sp?) in Athens.
I think I am in love with Athens Georgia too. Any town with this many crazy rad murals has got to be a great place.
Enough of this! You have to take me the next time you go searching for these paintings you are always capturing! I wanna be one of those to claim I was there upon discovery.
Bill Watterson continues to inspire us all. I love it.
Did I tell you I'm painting Emmett's room in Calvin and Hobb theme?? I'm pretty darn excited.
Very nice series...I gives you a real sense of Athens, a feel for the city, and though I've never been there, your love letter has moved it up considerably on my list of places worth visiting.
