Magic Eye

Several years ago, I became hooked to Magic Eye books. At first glace, the picture appears to be a page full of random shapes, colors, and lines. After staring for awhile - and going cross eyed in some cases - a 3D picture emerges. I loved those books!

One day while thinking in the guest bathroom downstairs, I found myself staring at the wallpaper.

GACK!!!

It's Magic Eye art. Can you see the message? Look closely.

The word TACKY practically screams as it jumps off the wall.

TACKY, TACKY, TACKY...

Well no more.

Abracadabra! TACKY Magic Eye bathroom, your trick will soon be over.

Absolutely tacky. No question. Especially the upper right hand part of the middle photo. Your guests shouldn't be subjected to such sights ;-)

Charlotte you are so funny. Ok, I could never do those magic eye thingies. It drove me nuts...or maybe I'm just too smart to fall for them.

Shankar: I'll have you know I had to take that shot three times before the perfect balance of TACKY wallpaper, gold light-switch cover, and reflection was achieved.

Alice: Try the picture on this post. It's 3D. ...and it takes a special type person to see the images.

I just spent way too long trying to see a 3D image in that picture - with no success. I'm thinking I do not have a magic eye.
(I was never very good with "Where's Waldo" either...)

Well...I was never good at those eye trick things, but I'm glad your getting rid of the wall paper is like two decades over due!

So cool! I'm talking about you replacing the wallpaper...I can't wait to see the finished project.

I love the magic eyes! I was just looking at some a week ago.. Was printing them off and showing them to the fam. They didn't believe me when I told them there was hidden photos in there.

I always thought it would have been a good idea to make a book full of pictures that were supposed to have 3D images in them, but didn't really.

Then if someone asked, I could pretend I saw it. "Oh yeah. Don't you see? Right there. It's a taxi cab, on a wooden raft, about to go over Niagara Falls. And James Brolin is driving the taxi. Oh this is SO cool! I can't believe you don't see it."

Okay, I gotta know, what is in that magic eye? I couldn't figure it out.
