Right vs Left

I went to lunch with two friends who are both left handed. That meant I was the odd man out, or the right-handed woman out, or the goofy handed girl out - however you define it. We discussed several topics during lunch and somehow ended on a conversation about computers. Ironically, I'm the only one who places the computer mouse on the left. I have done this for years.

Last night in class, I was bored. My mind wandered back to lunch and I wondered what life would be like if I were left handed. One thought lead to another and soon I was more interested in left-hand doodles than the Krebs Cycle. I took out a sheet of paper and wrote "I like blogging" with my right hand. I repositioned the paper and copied the phrase with my left hand. I continued this for several more phrases. I share a table with a classmate and I think I caught him glancing over a few times trying to see what I was writing. Nothing to see here buddy. Just practicing my penmanship.

If someone could please explain the Krebs Cycle to me...neither my right or left side was paying attention.

That's pretty funny. And you write pretty well with your non-dominant hand. But you put the mouse on your left? That would drive me insane.

That was very amusing. Amazing what happens when we get a little distracted.

My husband writes with his left hand and does everything else with his right hand. He says it was survival. His penmanship is so bad it doesn't matter what hand he uses I can't read it.

Wow, your left hand (I'll refer to it as its own person) has very good penmanship skills! My left hand is very jealous.

You are too funny. Whenever I was in charge of detention I'd make my students copy out of a book with their opposite hand for an hour. It was awesome.

Wow, impressive left-hand writing. You might be the only person I know who could have a funny conversation between their hands; you're amazing!

I used to practice left-handed free throw shots in basketball....just in case my right-hand got hurt during a game, and I had to shoot a free throw with my left hand....?

I think both your left and right sides reverted back to childhood.
A great place to go when bored in class.

I was interested by a lot of things in your post.

- You put the mouse on the left side??? Who does that? Not even left handers do that. Odd.

- Your stream of conscientiousness is very interesting. You should get that psychoanalyzed.

And isn't the Kreb's cycle a citric acid cycle that has something to do with acetyl and CO2? Good luck with that!

Tut-tut. Did our Lord not tell us let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth?

Nice. I too am fascinated with my left hand. I once injured my right hand in grad school and had to take an entire final exam, written, with my left hand. My teacher was amazed that it was clearly legible. :)

You write pretty good with Mr. lefty. And I must say that your hand conversations are quite enjoyable... even if they do irritate each other.

I want to see one with you writing with your toes..I wonder which would be better..right or left?

So do you left-click to do things or do you use your left index finger on the right button?
