House Cleaning Tip #1

Q: When is the best time to clean behind the toilet?

A: Why, when it's away from the wall of course. And it looks like someone needs to get on that pronto! Gross.

Q: When is the best time to clean the back of the toilet?

A: Anytime the toilet is located in the middle of the bathroom.

Oh, and regarding the wall paper...don't stare at it too long. It's been known to cause eye strain. While I am currently taking an anatomy class, we aren't to the Eye chapter yet and I have no idea what one does to correct a stressed retina.

Hey, don't get too crazy cleaning around that ring in the floor, that's the wax used to seal between the ring and the floor. It is best to avert your eyes from the wallpaper however. ;)

Ewww, I don't want to click on that second picture. But I hope those are pennies or something on top of the toilet.

Hmm.. I think I'll just leave my toilet (and the dirt behind it) right where it is!

Mojo: I actually didn't get too close. I'll have to trust you on that.

Bone: Don't worry...those are screws used to hold - something. Can you tell I wasn't involved in this project 100%?

Craze: It IS easier to clean that way.

You have triggered my bathroom-related PTSD.

Thanks...

I'm with craze on that one.

I don't care how much the areas around the toilets here need cleaning - I'm not moving them!

I've re-seated a few toilets in my day. One of the least pleasant jobs I've ever done. Make sure not to drop the new wax ring. Those things are NASTY sticky, and don't come off anything very easily.

Hmm... I didn't know removing and cleaning a toilet could be so fascinating!

I'm wondering if repeated exposure to dangerous eye strain wallpaper can cause permanent crossed eyes....

MY GOD I LOOKED AT THE WALLPAPER TOO LONG AND NOW I'M GOING BLIND!!!! UUUUUGH!

I hate removing and replacing toilets. I'd rather get a hernia.

Is that a little piece of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of the toilet?

Craig D: I enjoyed that post.

Coordination Queen: Fine. :o)

Beth: Toothbrushes (old ones) work just as well.

Llama: My dad took care of all the 'messy' work.

Sincerity: DON'T LOOK AT THE WALLPAPER...

Dorky Dad: Dang it... see what can happen Sincerity.

Joe: lol, no. It's a plastic bag.

Question: Why is the toilet away from the wall in the first place? Is this a regular cleaning ritual in your house?
